Are there still people like me?
Apart from the fact that parents hardly have any power over their children these days (which I think is good), the experience in the salon is different today. Who still remembers the classic salons of the 1970s and 80s? Are there people who can remember heavy rods, tickling lotions and the smell of burnt hair, or even the fear of the first salon visit, the change from straight to curls?
Unfortunately, there are hardly left any meeting points where I can contact other people and share fantasies and memories. Everywhere they only want barber, clippers or going bald, or they are CDs and TVs. However, I am a female with two X chromosomes and my experience is real.
If you share the same interest, feel free to contact me.
