Why are these school shooters not scared of going to prison? Some people say these kids are just copying other school shooters and want attention but are they not scared of going to prison like the rest of them did.
I have a theory that's quite unpopular. Maybe the most unpopular you've heard. I think we live in such a self-centered culture that some people forget that their life isn't a TV show. Maybe they feel like they've been turned into a bit character in someone else's happy story. Maybe they've waited so long for the plot twist that makes them a hero Maybe it's years and years of every conflict being resolved in less than two hours.... until you see the real world. Maybe they are jaded waiting on a happy ending that don't come. Maybe they realize they can control one part of the story? If you can't be the hero....you can always be the bad guy
I believe that the ones who get the bad breaks, even if it's first world problems, think they've been cheated....and still everything in culture has a happy ending nowdays. Except for their lives.... it's a little to handle. Especially for adolescent minds
They are nothing but stood in the corner, suspended, talked to, what ever someone can think of that won't offend them. When we stop training humans to be human, we won't be.
@Cloud7593 The first child shooter to kill (a teacher) in an American school happened in 1853. The first child to shoot another child in school happened in 1867.
@fazer1k In one of the Little House on the Prairie books some teen boys had killed a teacher. No, school violence is nothing new but it wasn't all the time like it is now.
