Went to get a new state drivers license last week

1. Almost changed lanes into a police car on my right when heading over.
2. Missed the turn there and parked in a different parking lot. Had to walk over.
3. Opened my bag and realized I had spilled water on two of my forms.
4. Asked a security guard what to do. He misunderstood me and told me to talk to someone giving driving tests. Took several minutes.
5. Made mistakes on the form and had to start over with a new sheet.
6. Was recently diagnosed with high functioning autism. Asked if I needed to check the mental illness box which I hadn't needed before. The man said yes! Then gave me forms that I need to give to my doctor in order to have it go through!
7. The forms cost an extra $35.
8. I need to take the time to have them faxed to my doctor!!
9. I will be listed this way for life and insurance costs could go up.
10. Failure to check that box could have put me in prison for an entire year!
11. The man walking me through this process was black.
12. I almost failed the vision test.
13. Almost lost my passport after taking the vision test. I had left it on the counter when filling out my form. A sympathetic mom told me she saw it.
