I Have Written a Novel
I have recently published my first full-length novel online. It is a psychological-horror novel titled No Ghost (NG).
NG follows the journey of an unnamed man as he abandons his established life in society and acts on internal resentment against human civilization and beliefs.
The story consists of the protagonist's journey, dreams, past memories and the struggles of other characters. All which are connected to the novel's over-all theme of Nihilism. NG alternates between third and first person perspectives. This combination is utilized specifically to immerse the reader into the protagonist’s perspective.
The purpose of NG is to establish a narrative depicting nihilistic aspects of life through a human. It compares the differences between human-established inherency and the neutral natural existence outside created morality and ethics. This is depicted in both an objective perspective and through a human experiencing and responding to their existential condition. A wide-range of societal and individual themes are explored and contrasted to natural baselessness.
Took me two years to create this one.
