I Have Mostly Given Up On Relationships

Nowadays, I prefer close friendships over actual romantic relationships. It seems that relationships are more prone to failure than friendships. People have to be handsome, successful, funny, and passionate all the time. Plus, feelings of love can fade over time, and people can become attracted to others. Friendships have lower standards. People can be friends with pretty much anyone, not talk to them for months, and then pick up where you left off. As an introvert, it would be hard for me to be in a relationship.
