I feel your pain. I lost my younger sister and VERY BEST FRIEND I February. She was very shy growing up so I was her only playmate until she came out of her shell around age six
We were VERY close all our lives. We did EVERYTHING TOGETHER and stood up for each other.
As teens, we were the same height and many mistook us for twins! When she turned 13, she became a bit taller than I but that made no difference to our relationship.
At seven, she contacted Hepititus and a year later her health declined a little at a time.
Through the years she had been diagnosed with ten different ailments which affected all her vital organs.
She underwent many years of kidney dialysis before she received a new kidney, which lasted 12 years then she was on dialysis once again and was put on the waiting list for a kidney but was taken off of it due to the high risk her many health issues, which would have been a problem for her to undergo another transplant.
In the last month of her life, a
bed BP plummeted due to the drop in her blood sugar. After pumping her full of glucose without any improvement, she got weaker and weaker until her body finally gave up fighting after a 53 year battle.
She will always be my best friend but I will always remember the very strong bond we shared folder almost six decades.
I am so sorry about your brother. I know you will always have him in your heart as I do my sister. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.💖🌹🌻
