I Like the Middle Ages

yes we do everythign in style, cooking over open fire, dress like in medidval dresses, wash in a bathtub, bake our own bread etc etc

you should check your local area for medival faires, people interessted are usually always welcome and can be equipped with a proper costume for a try out weekend.

though should be aware that many quit since while it sounds romantique at first it can be hard at time, the middle ages wasnt a happy fun time... even without the plague and serfdom

usually its around ruins of old castles, some cities sponsor us and we are a bit of a circus attraction, thats fine as it costs all money. but there is always the restricted areas where the "normal" people cant go

It's ok for a weekend, but let's not turn back the clock. No plague, no pillaging, no raping (fooling around is ok), and no chastity belts. I might have gotten a few ages mixed up there, sorry. Give me wifi and AC.

Try it .... go camping into the woods .... youu will gain a new respect for the simple luxuries like running water and TP ....

full renovated castles are usually used otherwise, we use ruins of castles, watch towers or abbeys

yeah thats my goal when i am a millionaire to buy my own castle

@mnnaughty we arent crazies who try to turn back time... its a hobby.. where we dive in and when we are back in civilization its great to take a hot shower, put a meal in the microwave and enjoy the internet
