I Had An Embarrassing Moment

In class yesterday I'd forgotten to turn my phone off. It gives a burping sound when it gets a text so in the middle of the lesson a loud burping sound came from my pocket. I went dead red with the embarrassment as the class laughed. The teacher told me to bring the phone out the front, turn it off and give it to her. I went back to my place worrying that she would put me in detention after the lesson that would get me into trouble at home. However she just told me off and said the phone was being confiscated for the morning and I could get it from the office after morning school finished which I did. I'll have to be more careful in future as I'm on a last warning.
