I Had An Embarrassing Moment

So, I had a job interview earlier today and when the lady got up to shake my hand she told me, "Goodluck" and my ass said "Thanks you too." 🤦🏽‍♀️
Im dumb. 😂

Don’t be so hard on yourself, we use “you too” habitually for so many questions that are really just niceties. If it were me I would just think you were a bit nervous, nothing more and nothing wrong with being nervous during a job interview

Lol something similarly happened to me.

As I left a GameStop and made my way to my car, I realized I didn't have my car keys in my pocket. I returned to GameStop as the cashier was just about to run out of the store to give me back the keys I left in there. As he gave me the keys he told me, "drive safe" and I replied, "you, too!"... but he wasn't leaving anytime soon :'(

For a minute I thought you meant you farted! LOL. I get it. I wouldn't worry about it. People say such things. Like when you leave a place of business and they say have a nice day and you say that back. How can they when they have to keep on working? Ha. You don't know. You may get that job!

I used to sell tickets at a movie theater and I would say enjoy the show and people often said you too.. also buying tickets and have been told to enjoy the show and I say you too.. it's just a force of habit thing.

Besides... I'm the MOST awkward, so when someone else mis-speaks, it's a tension breaker.

@silentkillx2 every time at the gas station/grocery store/walmart whatever the clerk always like to say "have a nice day and come again/see you next time" etc I always stupidly reply "you too" i'm intending to reply to the pleasant day wishes but it always makes me think in my head why did I say 'you too' to the next time. 😂
