I Had An Embarrassing Moment
It was at college, where I'm training to be a carpenter.... Let's just say I don't rush joints anymore!

At one time in my life a did mechanical maintenance for JetBlue.
I was testing the fire alarms.
We would tell the supervisor the serial number of a particular fire detector and they’d close off its connection to the fire system. An we would spray fake smoke into to see if it would go off.
But one particular fire detector apparently didn’t belong to JetBlue even though it said it did in the schematic.
It belonged to the port authority an set off the terminals fire alarm system.
I remember standing there thinking... “ooops?”
As the deafening alarms went off.
doors rolled down from the ceiling to cordon off the effected area.
People were freaking out
An New Yorkers being New Yorkers would literally toss their bags under the doors as they slowly closed, then slide on the floor under the closing door
Like people were on an intergalactic space ship and trying to get onto their escape pods as the ship was blowing up.
Two weeks later I accidentally made ALL the escalators in the terminal go up... 🤨
