I Lost My Son

Without knowing how the notifications work here, Id like to thank everyone for their wishes and sentiments. This is likely a topic I won't speak much about publicly. Not really even sure why I posted it. But I do truly appreciate the kind words Ive seen here.

I manage with the help of many caring friends and family that support me through my many recent changes in life.

Thank you to those who have commented already and those who may yet type comforting words.

The wounds are still fresh and you'll probably have a lifetime of trying to heal with little avail. Wounds like this just don't heal. Just try to focus on what you still have in front of you and let every forward step you take be because you know it's what he would want you to do.

Sorry man, it is tough. I burried two babies but they were young and I never got to know them the way you do one who gets to be 27. You will never forget I can assure you but I hope your burden gets lighter in time. Keep the good memories close.

Nah time doesn't heal anything. Eventually we have to face our demons on our own. That is the only way...

My heart goes out to you. And no, it doesn't heal all wounds. That's just something people say to make themselves feel better in your time of loss. No matter what though, he'll always be with you...always. Even in the new world you have to exist in without him, he's still there with you, trying to promote that smile you're desperately denying yourself.

Oh gosh. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain you're carrying. There is nothing worse than losing a child. ((Hugs))

No parent completely recovers from that kind of loss. I'm so sorry. It's way too soon to think that wound should be healed .
