I Am At Work

I hate when you try to build repport with someone, but they give 1 word answers or don't give you anything to go off of.

Our team is small so it only makes sense to try to get to know one another

@Adaydreambeliever but they are sociable, if the conversation is about someone else. They'll go on and on. But if you were to ask about their hobbies or something, they have nothing. Thank you. I did try

@Adaydreambeliever I don't think asking about a hobby or "what do you like about this job" is deeply personal. Yes I do think it's shallow. Can't go deep if I can't find any common ground.

And people on the thread are saying they come to work to work. I get that, but we are litterallyjust sitting here. It's very slow. So why not chat and get to know one another
