They always come first

Everyone is down for the count. I get a book, sit in my rocker and open it. Just when I think I'll be able to read a few chapters than I see her. She holds her arms up to me and I know what she wants. I pick her up, lay her in my lap and let her nurse while I play with her hair. The book can wait. I love being a mom
