In the night shadows I felt you....hidden deep within the recesses of my heart, there you were. I remember the castle high on the Tuscan hills. I remember the vineyards heavy with fruit. It was there that our love was consumated. We were consumed with fire, lusting for only each other. Death took you from me too soon. Your last words to me were never forget our eternal love.
We met again in the present, a chance happening on a city street. Romance again was in the air...when I looked into your eyes I knew it was you. We shared 14 years together, we were different, strangers to each other. We married, hoping to reignite that love from long ago. Gone was the all consuming love that we shared. But our hearts knew, never tempered by time nor distance...to be rekindled when the universe was ready.
