honestly i didn’t hit puberty til my sophomore year in high school (2 years ago). i didn’t take a lot of selfies back then bc i was literally hideous & i hated myself. i think i knew i wasn’t pretty from 3rd grade til recently because my sister was gorgeous and she got so much attention and it was constantly in my head that i needed to look like her to be noticed like her but we dont look anything alike. it got to where my anxiety was so bad i didn’t like to speak to anyone or look at anyone growing up. anyways so i went through my laptop i’ve had forever and i found an old picture (7th grade me) today and i just started bawling my eyes out because i used to be so miserable & depressed growing up and after all those years i’m finally comfortable in my skin. it made me kinda proud of where i am today so i decided to share my lil glo up lmao
