I When I Was A Kid We Actually Went Outside And Played
An old refrigerator box was a huge score...it could easily become a fort,spaceship or army tank rolling down the hill.
We built treeforts and plenty of other hideouts.
Sometimes in summer we would zoom our bikes down the hill-off the dock-and into the river! Dive down with a rope,haul 'em up,and repeat the maneuver.In winter,we would occasionally race our bikes on the ice-and break bones and split lips doing every other winter sport as well.
I built a lot of intricate model ships...packed them with fireworks...and BLAM! have fun collecting the pieces.
...and so on.
