How much stardust am I made of?

"Stars that go supernova are responsible for creating many of the elements of the periodic table, including those that make up the human body. It is totally 100% true that nearly all the elements in the human body were made in a star and many have come through several supernovas."

@Alabama only half of it... the other half is primordial hydrogen that was created by the big bang and is as old as time... literally :)

@Tracos Has the atoms that make up my Alabamian body has been recycled trillions of times even a part of Tennessean bodies?

@Alabama the atoms that are you have been part of the dinosaurs, the oxygen you breathe has been breathed by Cleopatra and a T-Rex.
