I Need to Say This

Being an atheist is ok.

Being an atheist and shaming religions and spirituality as silly and not real, is not ok.

Being a Christian is ok. Being homophobic, misogynistic, racist or otherwise hateful person in the name of christianity is not ok.

I do not understand where people get the idea that being a theist or theist means shaming or hating others for what they believe. While we are all alive and breathing, we can't show solid proof about the existence of God any more than these people arguing can prove that they are intelligent. I am Christian, solid in my faith, but never cared for such debates as they only lead to discord.

i think people just like to focus on the teeny, tiny (and really quite insignificantly small) number of hateful gremlins who call themselves christian and it gives the rest of us a bad name.

"Being RELIGIOUS is ok...."
