I Have No Words

Yesterday we found out that we have a new contract, so we're not losing our jobs at the end of the week. But then we find out today that they eliminated the jobs of two people, one of them the office manager. You know, the one that keeps all our supplies stocked, and handles all the behind-the-scenes operations that keep the office running. It would have been her 25th year with the company, but they laid her off in an instant. No warning, no heads-up that the new contract wouldn't include funding for her position. No, they just straight up told everyone that everyone's jobs are safe, and then after the celebration, got rid of two critical people.

So much for valuing loyalty and dedication.
