I Want to Know What Scares You the Most

Hello SW,
One of scariest things on SW is that it seems as though,'WE' as SW members no longer have the right to say what we want to say without being judged. How would you feel if the posts that you wrote venting would be used against you by another member? Used to intimidate and/or bully you?

What do we as members do when we encounter such individuals? How is this reported? I encountered something today that both worries me and pisses me off. This individual has his/her own issues from suicide to anger issues yet this individual tried to diagnose me and advise me of what I needed to do internally.

Do you have doctors on here that are unbeknown to us as members? If you do, can you please let me know so when I what to vent I can vent to the doctor rather than the site? Please advise.

Ya see, here's the problem with your threat:. First of all, nobody on here connects directly with each other. We all connect with a server somewhere in the world. That means you'd have to hack the server, and sort through literally millions of log entries assuming you can figure out which of the hundreds of log files you need to look in, and that's assuming you can get past the firewall that is protecting the server. Once you get inside the firewall, you're going to have to figure out which server to attack. Then you have to figure out which port you can get access through. Once you actually know what port you can get access through, you'll need to know what protocol will work on that port, and once you get that far, you'll need authentication credentials so that you can actually see anything. This is where you start looking for log files that will give you the information you need. The only problem with all of this is that it assumes that the people who built this site know nothing of Internet security, which it's pretty obvious to me as an IT professional, is simply not the case. Therefore your threat is completely baseless. Thanks for playing though...
