Some people have commented profusely about how they have no control over certain situations. I disagree. Here's an example: I know a man who served several years in prison. Upon release he got a menial job and started a family. He divorced his wife but kept custody of their 20 month old daughter. Lost his job and ended up living in a tent in a forest with his baby daughter. Found a job with Forestry dept, bought a car and began living in it. The whole time homeschooling his daughter and leaving her with a woman who also lived in the woods while he worked.
Fast forward.....This man and his daughter lived on Spam and PB&J sandwiches for years. No family or social services help!
His daughter just graduated this past May with four college degrees in solid fields. He now owns four homes in the United States and one home in Europe. It may seem that the odds are TOTALLY against you!!! I get it. I understand. People find it easy to give up or make some definitive excuse why their circumstances is so crushing they can't overcome. This is about attitude. This about intention and desire. If YOU say you can't do something......you CAN'T. That is how the universe works!
The man I spoke of was me.
I just closed on a mansion that sits on a huge lake for $2.6 million dollars. I now have the ability to help hundreds of people. I perform volunteer work whenever I'm not sailing or climbing, my two hobbies.
If an ex-convict living with a baby in a tent can RISE so CAN YOU.
I hope this true story inspired you.
