I Am A Skunkseeker
Hello everyone. I'm new to this site and forum, and skunkseeking groups in general. (There seem to be so few, and it's impossible to google without getting pages of animal control links.) The only one I found was The Experience Project after it was long dead.
I am 20, and live with my parents. I do not plan on getting sprayed again such that it would be obvious to them, but I can arrange times to seek when I would be alone in the house for long enough to get rid of the smell. I used to and plan to go out very often. I will go out even when I should not, because I just want to see one to gain morale for the times that I can get sprayed. My problem is that it's been so long since I even just saw one, and I don't know why.
My first spraying was two years ago, and was likely the second best experience of my life. It took a very long time to actually find a skunk, and I found two in around six hours of aimless walking. My writing skills are poor enough that I am uncomfortable describing the full night. I tried to, but it sounds maddeningly stupid.
