I Am A Skunkseeker
So I am Hailey and I just found this site and I would like you to know I also love to do skunkseeking. I am in high school me and my friend Ava go skunkseeking every 2-3 weeks. And it started in 5th grade.
So I was playing softball with my friend outside and the ball went out of the yard. I jumped the fence to get the ball. But by the ball was a rustling sound. I bent over to see what this animal was. It happened to be a skunk and I yelled and it sprayed me. It got me covered! But I didn't scream like normal people. I stopped and kinda smelled my shirt. It didn't smell that bad. And my friend ran over to see what happened and she didn't see the skunk and also got sprayed. We actually kind of liked it. But I pretended to be gagging in front of my parents and they had to go to the store to get the stuff and a couple weeks later the smell went away. And later me and Ava decided to go every week since my parents don't excactly care because we own this cabin and they drop us off for the weekend and we just go skunk seeking. Well recently we went to go to the cabin with ava and my parents left and we decided to get packed up and head out.
So we searched for a good 15 minutes and finnaly Ava noticed a white stripe. We immediately ran to it and it was a skunk. It started to stomp and we just got closer. Than it made the u turn. We just kept walking and I got a pretty big spray on the chest. Than I got another to the face. And Ava got 2 sprays to the face. We enjoyed our new scent but we actually heard a cough. Not from ava but it was faint. We knew we were not alone so we just ran to the cabin silently. Turns out there was a hunter in fact. But he left after gagging a ton.
The following day we kinda hanged out and now we couldn't really contaminate anything we got on our phones since we have wifi here (took a lot of money). We kinda called our friends and chatted. All of my friends don't judge me for doing my thing they just won't do it with me. But we talked about life and we texted and stuff. And now we are just hanging out. But later today I have to deodorize and leave.
