What is the basis of your faith? [I Believe That the True Religion Is Iglesia Ni Cristo]

My faith (Christianity) is built in very large part on personal experience. My understanding of the Bible also comes in part from personal experience and reading the words of other Christians and their experiences. I read St Augustine's Confessions and had an instant understanding of what he was saying. I was going through seminary and one of my class mates was going through a crisis in faith almost identical to one I had had a year before. We even shared the same words to describe it.

I felt love that God has for us and his help.... and it started my faith.
