John 1:1 says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." That Word is Jesus.
Just a few versus later, in John 1:14, it says "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." That Word, that Son, that is Jesus.
Finally, in John 1:18, it finishes up with "No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God..." and again, this is referring to Jesus, the Son, the Word, and God in the flesh.
If you want to know who I am, ask me. If you want to know who Jesus is, ask Jesus. He'll gladly tell you clearly. Then it's all up to you...do you believe or not?
