I Try My Best to Escape Reality When I Can

How confusing life can be. It’s hard to be a part of a crowd. You have to assimilate yet not make anyone jealous, and that is a challenge. People get jealous over sexual attention or the desire to be recognized as the best. If you slack off though everyone just complains about you. So it feels like you can’t win. If you’re the best in certain work circles, those around you get jealous and can make your life hell. Yet if you don’t produce up to par you feel pressured with being fired, and ultimately being hungry and cold, in an apathetic reality of a life where if you aren’t the moldable puppet of people’s dreams you are labeled or discarded.
