I understand you are trying to make people feel better about where they are in life but the fact is its only hurting them to give them excuses for not trying. I say this out of love because I am 32 and far from where I wanted to be at my age. If you want something out of life take every opportunity to get it. Don't let opportunities go by because somebody said "nice words" that make you feel ok about doing nothing with yourself

@AnExcellentJestt I will take one of those hugs though

@AnExcellentJestt I'm not giving any one excuses for any thing. Being behind is only a matter of perspective. It's never too late to try anything. There's no place or path where anyone should be at a certain time because things happen that stop us sometimes and some things take longer to achieve than others. People can make their own path at any time is what I'm saying. What really matters is that they are happy and not in this negative mindset that they are behind because that can make them feel unworthy and not act to get them to where they want to be. Every day is a new beginning to start something. Your life could be gone tomorrow. So what matters is that you make the most of what you have and not feel held back by negative notions because they can overwhelm you.

@AnExcellentJestt *hug* be kind to you, you may not be where you want to be right now, but we are always learning and have the chance. Only measure yourself against yourself and not where society says where you should be / where the next person is

@JammieDodgerHeart i get it...if you happen to behind where you expected, like myself, dont feel bad...just keep going..makes sense
JammieDodgerHeart · 26-30, F
@AnExcellentJestt yeah basically just give yourself some understanding and don't be held back by your own expectations either. Just keeping trying and enjoying what you're doing in the process

Glad you cleared that up...that is important advice

And thanks for the hug
