I Hate Guys Who Hit Women

An abuser isn't abusive 24/7. They usually demonstrate positive character traits most of the time. That's what makes the abuse so confusing when it happens, and what makes leaving so much more difficult. I know women, personally, who are physically and emotionally abused by their husbands, yet they stay and sometimes believe they are in love. I believe this is one of the reasons why this issue is still going. Abusive men will never stop abusing until women start to know their worth.

The biggest challenge is to convince a woman that it's not her fault. If your husband is abusive, you cannot ignore it. There's no excuse for a man hitting a woman. Ever. Self respect by definition is a confidence and pride in feeling that you are behaving in an honorable and dignified manner. Respect yourself and walk away.

Violence against women is the last refuge of disgusting immoral men. He who has once hit a woman, had forever killed a man in himself. Every time you mistreat a woman, you give up the right to be treated like a man.

Why wouldn't you be able to be in love with someone who hits you?
believe they are in love
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst Because abuse is not love.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@Madeleine like you said, they're not only abuse, they're good people at different times

@MartinTheFirst What is the point if a man would hit his wife so violently, and then buy her roses? If a woman would accept this kind of treatment, then she should never complain. Love is never "a part time" feeling.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@Madeleine A person can complain about something they choose to accept. A man who buys roses and beats is wife is not all bad, it proves that there's some good in him.
shimmeringrose · 46-50, F
@MartinTheFirst Buying roses can actually be an entirely selfish act.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst Would you hit your wife?
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@shimmeringrose .....how?
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@Madeleine no -_-
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst But you agree with hitting women?
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@Madeleine no -_-
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst So what are we arguing about?
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@Madeleine A woman can love a man who hits her 🐨

ps. I'm not arguing, I'm discussing.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst I have a problem with women who complain for hours about their husbands being abusive, but when I tell her to stand up for herself, she says, "oh, but I love him". Then why did she waste my time and surrounded me with negative energy for hours?!

When you have a problem, either .. solve it, or shut up.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@Madeleine Breaking up isn't a solution to her, obviously. Be patient.
shimmeringrose · 46-50, F
@MartinTheFirst He buys roses to relieve any feeling of wrongdoing. He sees it as redemption and suddenly the abuse never happened because.. ROSES. Do you not like roses? If she complains about anything he can say that she didn't appreciate the roses. He can make her feel like she has to earn roses as well as respect.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst And wait until she gets killed.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@shimmeringrose That kind of logic would work if he was a robot. People generally have feelings though, and after hitting someone they love they tend to have true feelings of regret, sometimes showing up in roses.

@Madeleine She won't get killed. Beating, and killing are two very different things my friend.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst What kind of beating are we talking about?
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@Madeleine The kind of beating where you can go to your friend the next day and whine about it like just another day.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst I'm talking black eyes and broken legs.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@Madeleine Although bad and horrible, that's not anything like "killing". Strangling would be more worry-some in that regard.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst Keep on giving her a black eye will end up killing her.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@Madeleine I do not think so, humans are very regenerative.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst Obviously you don't read the news. Either way, no human being deserves to be treated this way.
SweetKiester · 46-50, F
It starts with a black eye. .. ends with him choking her.
