I Suck At Dating

Honeymoon phase is nice, but I’m more into the unpolished moments that can only occur naturally with time as life throws stuff at you. These moments are gifts in that they are opportunities for us to be there for one another. These are revealing instances that can either bring people closer or further apart. I think how we handle hardship together is more telling than when it’s sunny.

Last night he was sad and allowed me in to that normally protected space. I’m touched he felt comfortable sharing and letting me be there for him. 💞 Silent cuddles are special.
