I don't think you were gross, you were expressing what was happening and how it was making all of you feel. I do hope that once he did calm down everything else calmed down and you didn't have to take him to the ER. Going to the ER I would feel just make him even more stressed causing things to be worse.

I personally think your doing an awesome job taking care of him and all the others in your life. Thankfully there are places like this that you can share things to help you clear your thinking and calm down.
