I Have a Special Needs Child

So Lucas definitely has pneumonia. I took him to his Dr today, he had to take x rays which proved he has it. The Dr prescribed more oxygen for mom and some heavy duty antibiotics and cough syrup. He's been out cold all day, thank god for his feeding tube or I don't know what I'd do to get him to eat. He only woke up if he was in pain or needed to be changed. He's sleeping in bed with me so if he needs something I'm right there. Also he feels most safe and comfortable when I'm with him so I think it's best.


I hate seeing him sick. He's so miserable and it breaks my heart. I'm hoping and praying he'll be well by Christmas cause he loves Christmas. Btw read that story of the little boy who died in Santa's arms. I broke down like a baby. It's so sad.
