I Hate Mother's Day
I dont really hate Mother's Day, but it's hard not being around my mom. It's hard to see people with their mothers and mine isn't with my bro and I. I'm happy that they are spending time with their moms She lives with one of her sisters (my aunt back in her hometown) and she doesn't even answer the phone. She did once. My parents split up when I was 18 and my bro was 24. She didn't communicate and 12 years ago, she shut herself down from everyone, including my bro and I. My mom isn't doing anything for herself or getting a job. I have spoken to my mom in a year and that isn't normal. We usually talk every week when we can. My aunt is the one that usually answers. Now she has a hard time getting around which I understand. I don't like showing it but I am very pissed off and angry at my mom cuz she's not doing anything for her or at least helping. I'm not going to go into deep details because it's personal so please don't ask. I mean my mom was a great mother I mean we used to do a lot of things together like mother and daughter days. We've had some fun and amazing times with our mother just like we do with our dad. I mean she did give us a life less than she did help me When I was in coming of age when I was blossoming into a young woman so I was blessed to have her around. she taught me some stuff about being a young woman and when I need my stuff just in case something happens you know "women's business."
We try to get her help but she refuses to get help. Well we can't make her get hope so it is what it is. There's nothing my bro and I can do about it but my dad says you never know what you can do until you actually try it something like that. May be better at it than you think. That's true. she may not be the best role model right now but we're not going to give up on her.
