I Have Epilepsy

On October 31st, I went back up to Stanford to talk to my neurologist about my options after the several tests I've taken to determine what I needed. We went over the options again, and agreed that the laser surgery to remove the scar in my brain would not be a good idea, as it would cause me to lose a lot of my memory. Something I've already lost plenty of.

The best option for me would be to implant the chip, which we discussed again at length, and agreed that it would be safer and more beneficial. Here is a link that will tell you more about the chip...

I will see the neurosurgeon on December 13, and I assume we will schedule the surgery at that time.

I really hope you'll be okay. I take it standard meds don't work anymore?

@SW-User I have tried several different meds over the years. The only one that really worked for me was Keppra. I was seizure free for five years, until the pharmacy began giving me a generic form. Don't ever believe that a generic drug is just the same as the real stuff.
