I Think Ice Bucket Challenge Is A Very Stupid Act

It can be fun to watch and I know that some people are doing it to raise money for certain diseases, but how exactly do they get money off of it and why Ice?????

The people who do this challenge are meant to donate $10 to the charity that researches ALS (although most people don't, they just use it as an excuse to get onto youtube). I think the ice water is meant to give a similar effect to that of ALS, raising further awareness of what it feels like to suffer from it.

Lou Garick's disease is like losing feeling and control over your body. You watch you body stop functioning very quickly. Some say it is the same as getting cold quickly.

So you raise money and for a few seconds live as if you had the disease.

Like putting a blindfold and acting blind.

Too many people have no clue what it is or why it should be done. They just want their 15 minutes.

well, they're "supppose" to get donations from others for doing it...but most people just do it for the attention now...

I watch a lot of of this person's other videos , but just got this one since the ice bucket challenge is the topic, but this person has been on youtube before the ice bucket challenge has even come out, but I see what you're saying.

I'm not doing any of it. I would love to raise money to help, but not in this way.

There are one or two people who do all the challenges that get set from the ice bucket to that stupid Kylie Jenner challenge thing and they blatantly just want the attention. Fair play to those who actually do the challenges that have a purpose and donate to support that purpose.

Well you can just donate, but some people just like to act stupid instead haha
