@ImpeccablyImperfect I think what causernamebemyusername meant is that sometimes,when people with mental illnesses,are triggered by sometimes seemingly innocent things ,and at other times blatant reminders, of past abuse,they become way overly sensitive and usually have no idea why...They are reacting to the past trauma and projecting it on to the present situation,so the over exaggerated response makes no sense to those outside the person being triggered..I have C-PTSD and I know I do this..This isn't an excuse or anything,just a possible explanation..
