I Sometimes Just Need To Vent

It's sometimes so hard for me to deal with the public. I'm trying to be more patient, but it gets difficult when I deal with people who don't consider others. Maybe my being a little pressed for time made it worse, but I went to Costco to fill up my tank. The lines were quite long (Saturday afternoon ya know), and the 2 cars parked at the pumps ahead of me seemed abandoned. Finally, after a couple of minutes, someone got out of the car at the farther pump and started getting gas. There was still no one stirring in the car directly in front of me (couldn't see in, SUV - dark tinted windows). After about 5 minutes, a woman exited and went to the pump. I can only guess she was on the phone or texting. My thought was, how could she not know there were several cars behind her waiting to use the pump? And if she knew, why did she not care? Couldn't she have possibly started getting her gas, locked the handle on the pump and used her phone (or whatever she was doing that took so long) while her tank was filling? That would seem reasonable to me, but it apparently didn't to her. Some people are totally oblivious to anyone's needs but their own, and it makes me mad.
