I Often Think About Leaving My Country

I don’t want any hate but I think it’s time for me to leave the U.S. I don’t have anything against it. Hell, I was born and raised in the good ol’ USA. But I’m moving to England because of the amount shit my family is pushing onto me. I need time and space to clear my mind. And the politics, I can’t even enjoy one day of school because of just how much people talk about the politics. And it’s mainly the American politics. Once I graduate high school I will be moving for good. Plz no hate.

The U.S. is generally pretty shitty. I plan to leave when I'm able, as well. The risk of dying from gunshot wounds would be significantly lower in most of Europe. As would dying from a health condition when you cant afford to go to a doctor. Or afford an education. And not because America inherently provides better quality services, but just because corporations can do whatever they like here. We're woefully inefficient at spending. America has tons of money, but it burns most of it being ineffectual.
Yes , come to England, you’ll love it here because nobody ever mentions Brexit.
@LifeHurts66 well is “the American accent” the proper name for how people speak in the US?” . If yes , then sure, “the British accent” will also do just fine.

I was just wondering because I didn’t want to offend.@Helpinghands
@LifeHurts66 it’s cool no offence taken😉

Haven't been to England since 1980, but it's on my bucket list to go back . . . Man U at Old Trafford . . . Stonehenge on the solstice . . . county cricket . . . (no comment on the political scene)
Nothing wrong with wanting to live elsewhere. You don't have to apologize.

The US and its current administration suck big time.

Do what makes you happen. Change is good.

Thank you. Not many people understand it. @11knaves11

I’d go to Australia instead

I hope you like England x
USA's a pretty big country. Why do you have to leave it to get away from your family?
LifeHurts66 · 22-25, M
It’s big (in politics) and everything that is happening here is just too much for me. Trump is not my issue at all. It’s just how divided our country has become well, not my country for much longer.@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP
@LifeHurts66 if you're trying to escape division, England's probably the last place in the Western hemisphere you want to be right now
LifeHurts66 · 22-25, M
At least people in England are quite more understanding than the bloody media in America.@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP
