Well, no. I'm not in the stone or from it. I know that there are darker skinned people of every so-called "race". I personally would like to see more darker skinned women of all ethnics as I find women of color extremely pleasing to my eyes. "Dsrker" skinned to me is anyone other that pale white - naturally tan, wheatish, golden yellow, golden brown, honey brown, cinnimon brown, caramel, cocoa brown and darker.

If I look at you a bit longer or stare it's not with any negative thought at all, or viewing you as strange. It's probably because I'm in awe of the beautify enhancing color of your skin.

I wish the media waves were flooded with women of color that are always made up to look their best, in positive light and circumstances, and always represented with the intelligent and well spoken members of their ethnic.

Jumbo - I personally do not geel that being physically attracted to women of a particular type ethnic or so-called race is "fetishizing" them. If you're physically attracted to certain physical features, looks etc., of a particular type and find them beautiful of handsome or wherever the case may be - what are you supposed to do, pretend like you're not? Act like you don't notice? Often physical attraction is the initial attraction. Doesn't mean you won't find more non-physical things attractive about a person once you meet and get to know them.

"Fetishized"? So one "makes a fetish" of a particular type, or look or features etc, of a person because they see them as physically attractive, pleasing, beautiful?

I don't think that's what you're doing by being physically attracted to Indian or any other specific ethnic, or so-called race, or type of women. But that's just me and my opinion.

I think these words get misused/abused often in our society these days.

Sorry Jimbo - this really isn't towards you personally or anyone on this thread. Nor am I saying that women are not sexualized. But I get a lot of this "fetish" crap because I like Asian and other ethnic and so-called races of women of color. I call bull s--t.

I love the color of my skin. I just find it odd that I'll get a message from a complete stranger asking my ethnicity.

My taste in skin color is strangely in it's exploration mode so, I can't be picky on who I can make friends. :)
