I Think About Death

What happens after death? Do we go to a special place. Today my doggy was put to sleep. I cant get it out of my head.

Why do we have death?
Why did god create life and death?
Why couldn't we just live together for eternity?
Why do dogs have a shorter life than humans?
Why should we wait for death, why cant we die when we want to die?
People conceive and life is born? Why cant we prepare for death in a similar way.
Why do we loose love fast to death?
Why dont we have a choice of when we want to loose the loved one?

Life seems like a blind path. Someone has blindfolded you and asked you to step out on to a busy highway. You are walking along the road. Few near misses, you didnt see it, but you felt the rush of air of a passing vehicle that almost knocked you down.

This truly is our life. Death is a vehicle which will sooner or later hit you hard. You wont see it hit you, neither will you see it hit your loved ones walking along with you. This is life.

Why do I need to be living this life? Blindfolded like a guinea pig. Is this some kind of joke some one is playing with us?

How come we didnt invent a device that could find death?

Why are we so mortified by death yet we dont seek answers to the same?

Life is like a highway, we are still walking blindfolded. We dont see the vehicles coming towards us nor do we see them approaching from the opposite direction.

Sometimes we stand at one place, some times we trip and fall.We pick ourselves and keep walking. Eventually what we know is that our luck will run out and that our time will come.

Occasionally we call out to our loved ones, inquiring if they are still around us.
When they respond we go about minding our business. It is only when we loose them that we realize how important they were to our mere existence.

We are still walking blindfolded, sometimes I feel that my arms are tied too. They did that just to make this walk of life a bit more difficult and painful.

We all are still walking on the highway, blindfolded and waiting for time. The time will come when it will bring death. Death will kill love and life.

The time will stop.

I wonder how would I feel and what my attitude was if we have a never-ending life. Most of the time, I'm so focus on my own little world, my problems, my insecurities that I barely have the time or desire to involve others in my life with the false hope that they will be here forever. I know it's a fatal mistake. I'm guilty. No excuses.
I see this life as partly, a stupid dream and partly as a nightmare. There isn't consolation, at least, I haven't found it in any religion or any spiritual theory.

I also have the feeling that we are part of a game. But a really fucking one, because I don't see any coherent rule.

Sorry your doggie is not with you. This is very sad.

Everything passes, wears out, dies. The Sun is good for another 4-5 billion years, iirc, and after that pffft! there goes our solar system. I forget the timeline for heat death of the universe, but it's out there, getting slowly, so slowly, closer.
I wonder too sometimes
