I Am a Single Parent

I was just thinking about my son and daughter... today I had to check my 18 year old son about himself today. I won't go into details, but at some point 18 year olds need to slow it down
At 18, they stand with the world at their feet. Some know "how" and others don't; yet..
I wish at times my son had a father that mentored him like he needs. Sometimes I can't be "that" father. I am that mother with a father back bone, but I can't do everything.
Since our divorce (7.5 years ago), I try to give their dad credit for being 'around' but, honestly....he doesn't & hasnt done crap to raise the kids. I think it's time to take back the little credit I gave him.
