I Am a Single Parent

...and I feel I'm on the verge of a breakdown. Real Estate agent has called and requested inspection as owners are in town. It is still summer school holidays here and any resemblance of a clean house disappeared within hours of the children coming home from a week away with their dad (Sunday just gone). I've had to call in carpet cleaners which has stretched me even further financially (January is a money pit of a month). The lawn mower man is away until next weekend. And, my son has left for camp with his bedroom looking like the remains of District 12 (despite my many requests for a clean bedroom on departure). It's 9:45pm and 10 year old daughter has finally finished cleaning her room up. 8 year old is beginning to settle down after 'playing' Kylo Ren. It's bin night and it's pissing down with rain. But, at least the temperature has reduced significantly 🎉
