I Love My Child

I am a single dad, ya what of it? I stepped up and took care of what is most precious in the universe to me. I LOVE how people automatically lose interest when this topic comes up, sorry bout ya luck I'm a dad, that's not changing, my daughter is my everything, dont like it? BYE FELICIA!.

P.s- the stigma that single dads are bad parents is some bullshit. Now I am not saying that ALL dads are good. Nor am I saying that everyone is saying bad things, but the amount of people I have heard. Seen and know who believe this are ignorant. To all my single dads who give their whole heart and everything to their child(ren) respect!
Many fail to realize that most single fathers are, quite often, far better in raising their children than the single mother.

I was also a single dad for around 7 or 8 years after my divorce from my first wife. It was the kids were little and I wouldn't traded it for anything. Their mother was not around and barely communicated with them. Then I met my current wife.
I always took the high road and never said anything bad about their mother.
Collecting child support from her was a joke, since the courts weren't much help. I even got her summoned to court when she owed me over $20,000 and all she had to do is promise to start paying. If she would have been a guy she would have been thrown in jail. Instead she went back home which was 1/2 way across the country.
I also know a couple of other single dads and they did everything they could for their kids.
Just remember there are dead beat moms, not just dead beat dads.

I do not know where you live but in my 41 years I have never once heard a person make this claim. i think you just want to be pissy about something.

IN FACT:
the actual stigma is that single dads are good men, which is not always true either.

@JaggedLittlePill was not trying to be pissy, I suppose tone might have been set wrong, I apologize if it did seem that way but I was and am not pissy, also really? I've heard it the other way around mostly. So maybe that's why. Just got my wires crossed ? 🤔🤷‍♂️ idk but again apologies for any offense 😊
