I Believe Life Shows Us Little Signs To Guide Us

Well, no, I don't particularly 'believe' in this. I'm very skeptical about anything that isn't founded in science. Although, that doesn't mean I'm not open to this idea amongst others. With that said... I became desperate, and decided to give this whole "the universe shows us signs" thing a shot. So I read a couple articles and one suggested asking for something specific. I asked for the universe to show/bring me roses if my relationship is right for me and if I should stay. In contrast, I asked for the universe to show/bring me sunflowers if I need to be free to grow and expand as an individual. The next day I opened Snapchat and this thing about horoscopes appeared - I clicked it and for my sign, it said "lots of messages will be coming your way this week, both in the physical world and the spiritual." A few days later, I went grocery shopping and outside of the store were a bunch of a solo sunflowers. I walked inside and there was a whole table full of sunflowers and then in another section, there were sunflowers mixed with other flowers. I then decided to intentionally look for roses, but there were none in the store. The following day, I open up instagram and there's a picture of a girl in a field of sunflowers. I decided to check my weekly horoscope again today and it said "change can sometimes be for the best, especially when it comes to outdated relationships." There've been other supposed "signs" recently as well. I find this all to be interesting, ironic and rather coincidental, but I still don't trust it. My brain may just be picking up on and noticing these coincidences because I'm subconsciously tuned in to looking for them now. Eh, who knows? I'm bad with having faith, but maybe I should have a little. Perhaps if someone literally walks up to me and hands me a sunflower, then I'll feel a bit more confident that these are actually true "signs".
