I Love to Travel and See New Places

One of the weirdest places I have been recently to is Haw Par Villa in Singapore

Haw Par Villa is a theme park, originally called Tiger Balm Gardens, built in 1937 by brothers Aw Boon Haw and Aw Boon Par. It contains hundreds of statues depicting scenes from Chinese mythology and folklore. The main attraction are the 'Ten Courts of Hell', a collection of gruesome images depicting tortures inflicted in hell to all kind of sinners

Singaporean children used to be brought there by their parents and teachers as a way to build their morality. Now the place is not very visited either by tourists or locals, and has a decadent atmosphere that makes it even more enthralling.

@Mugin16 It is, but at the same time it brought to mind Dante's Inferno and made me feel a certain familiarity.
