I Want to Make Friends

I would like to make both some more friends in real life and on here 😄 I made a close friend on Experience Project who I've been friends with for around 3 years and I also have another friend on here who I speak to from time to time. If anyone here would like to chat, I am always open to responding to messages! I have had much better experiences with meeting people on EP/SW than any other online social platform.

As for in real life, I have a few friends...one I see often and the others I don't get to see as much. I am planning to meet new people at my university this year so hopefully, that will help! 😊

My advice for people is that if you want to meet friends, do not be afraid to put yourself out there. The worst that can happen is that you meet someone who isn't the greatest towards you, but in that case, they weren't worth your time to begin with. 🤷🏻

I actually do better at making friends on sites like this where I can just jump in and out of conversations.
Also I like your view in the last part there.

@canusernamebemyusername Yeah, I am the same :) I find it much easier to make friends online than in real life. I want to have a bit more of a balance so I am going to try to make some in real life friends too. 😄

As for the last part, I have had some pretty bad experiences with people online and in real life unfortunately but I have learned from them which is great.

Online helps me find people that have interests more along my line. Or to find nicer people if a person is surround by jerks.

I don't message people much or try to make friends, because then I feel obliged to talk to them each time we both are online.

@Dan193 That's understandable :) Some people can easily get offended when they don't get a reply soon when they see you online. I try to hide my online status on apps/websites and sometimes I even try to warn people that I may not always reply. Sometimes I am genuinely not in the mood to respond to people so I understand not wanting to feel obligated to talk to anyone. We go online to relax after all.

its easier making friends online. I deleted my facebook because all the people i were friends with were people from high school who added me because we happen to go there

I have a buddy that on EP and that was 9 years ago so your right in what your saying but I tend not to approach people anymore
