I Love This Album

"Silent Feet" by Eberhard Weber and Colours

I saw this album performed live. It was an awesome experience, perhaps the best concert I ever attended. The songs were performed in their intended order: "Eyes That Can See In the Dark," "Seriously Deep," and Silent Feet," (all below) and they played extended versions of each tune. On the album, the total time is just over 42 minutes; the live set lasted 65 minutes.

“Seriously deep” is a fantastic tune. It has also been recorded by the ‘United Jazz and Rock Ensemble’ of which Eberhard was a member. Highly recommended!

I am all but blown away that you have heard of Eberhard Weber. He is one of my all time favorite musicians. Very few people I have met know of him. I am so saddened that he can no longer perform. The concert where I saw him perform was beyond magical.

@Byron8by7 My pleasure. He’s always been of of my favorite bass players. “The colors of Chloë” is another favorite of mine. Yes it’s sad he can’t play anymore because of his stroke.

He is on so many ECM albums with so many great musicians. In the late '70s, ECM's heyday, my friends and I joked that ECM existed because they could all play on each other's albums.

"Living In the Past" - a great album by Jethro Tull, from the same era. I also saw them live.
