I Cannot Help But Tell You The Truth Even If It Hurts You

I don't wanna be lied to but why does the truth hurt so much? My family says it's imoossible to tell me things because I don't like hearing the truth and I always want the easy way out which makes me a coward.
Even my friends say I'm impossible to be around with sometimes.

Other people's opinions aren't always the "truth".

It hurts because you care about their opinion.

Maybe low self esteem had caused this? Consider for yourself what the cause is and then fix it. Living according to others opinions isn't living....
