I Enjoy the Use of Symbolism

It is great! I think it is work studying all sorts of symbols. Symbols are used for many things that people do think about. Some people with tattoos use symbols as identifying who they are or what they been threw. Many people today and threw out history have also used symbols to identify themselves to say "Hey I am here!" or "I am one of you". Symbols not only identify. Symbols have been seen as form of a code to keep secrets away from others. There are some symbols that are the other way around! Some symbols are known to all to keep people safe, like the skull and cross bones symbol to mark poison on bottles. What I think is cool that is not only though, are symbols used for practical use but religious use to.

Symbols are found all over in many religions and even be seen by some as a "source of power". Which I think is strange in real life but interesting on how these markings or lines or whatever the symbol is. Came to be worshiped by many. If you think about it, it is like saying that these words. The words you are reading right now. Have magical or divine powers that can change life itself! That is how some people or some religions see symbols. Strange right?

So symbols have practical uses and "magical" uses, but they also serve a role in many loved books, movies, and ... well anything entertainment wise. There are many popular things that use symbols are use to foreshadow. Or used to help the readers be connected with the book, like Harry Potter and it's famous "Griffindor". Writers, as well as movie makers, make groups that hold certain personality traits. Traits that many can relate to and see themselves being part of this grouping. Which helps draw in the reader or viewer. Some books even have iconic symbols to show what a character is like. So symbols can help make a world seem more real to a reader or viewer.

Also symbols can be seen to help advertisements to. From the story Aladdin, Jafar's staff is a snake headed staff that he uses to cast spells on people. Could you picture Jafar, with a turtle staff or a pink unicorn one? No, because the snake is used here as a symbol of evil or villain like, which helps define what type of character Jarfar is. As of recent, a show called Once Upon A Time is a show where we see many classic characters. Such as Snow White, Sleepy Beauty, Wicked Witch, Peter Pan, Red Ridding Hood, and more all come together in this show. When word got out that new characters where coming to the show in a new season. A picture of a snake head staff was released by the show creators and so everyone knew that the new charters where from Aladdin.

So from history, to secret codes, to religion, and many more places. Symbols are used in a number of ways and for a number of reasons. So when you see one you may not know what they are stand for or if is a reason they are around. However, you can't say they are not used often or have no reason to be studied because they are all around us. Sometimes we just don't acknowledge they are there is all because we are so use to them already.

Hope you enjoyed my little rant. :) OH Look at that a symbol to express my feelings in a text. Imagine that! Okay friends, leave a heart if you liked or if you feel the same as me.
Everything is a symbol.

Not everything! xD I actually just thought about it and there are two things that I though about that are not symbols or could be used as a symbol. One a squiggle and Two radioactive energy.
