@revenant It's not.. it really is a small white.. sometimes called a cabbage white - many gardeners hate them as their caterpillars destroy plants. .but I think they are lovely

@AliceNoctem No, you were right, it is a butterfly. We have loads of them, it's probably the most common butterfly we have.. That's a classic example
