I Have Celiac Disease

I was finally diagnosed about a year and a half ago. So many years of suffering. Since I have been on the prescribed diet, life has been so much better. No more migraines, no more passing out in pain. No more violently ill spells.

My issue now is that many around me don't understand how important my diet is to my health. They think I can cheat a little. I can't. Not even a little. I am teased and ridiculed by family and friends. I have been accused of be a hypochondriac and a fanatic.

Oh that is right; you had mentioned that it was the small intestine earlier. Still, I did not realize the damage that it could cause. I just knew that my ex would have swelling around the ankles, nauseated along with the next step, and one more thing that I am sure you might have experienced. I know that I never want to be diagnosed with it.
